The consumption-based sizing of PV storage systems

  • Selection of standardized load profiles or import of self measured load profiles
  • Input of the total annual consumption
  • Individual indication of the degree of self-sufficiency or the own consumption rate
  • The optimal PV generator and storage size is calculated on the basis of the consumption, the roof size and the degree of self-sufficiency or the own consumption rate
  • Detailed evaluation and graphic representation of the different proportions of the electricity demand
  • Detailed view in 15-minute steps over the entire year

The following definitions apply:

Degree of self-sufficiency (%)= Direct consumption (kWh) / Annual total consumption (kWh)
Own consumption rate (%)=Direct consumption (kWh) / Annual yield of the PV plant (kWh)
Direct consumption= Natural own consumption
= Electricity that is consumed at the same time as it is generated
